The New "Highway Transport Regulation" was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force on January 8, 2018

The New “Highway Transport Regulation” was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force on January 8, 2018: Now, all documents of the cargoes will be digitally recorded in the U-ETDS system of the Ministry within 6 hours at the latest.

With the new regulation published, the Transportation Electronic Tracking and Control System (U-ETDS) was also introduced. C2, C3, K1, K3, L1, L2, N1, N2, R1 and R2 authorization certificate holders, together with the invoice/e-invoice and/or waybill information, for the goods they undertake to transport. The information specified in paragraph 2 of the regulation, together with the invoice/e-invoice and/or waybill information for each cargo/shipment accepted by the M and P type authorization certificate holders, at the latest 6 hours after the time the goods are accepted. It was announced that the obligation to process/transmit the information specified in the paragraph to the U-ETDS System of the Ministry until 1 hour after the cargo/shipment is accepted, and 10 warnings will be given to the holders of the authorization certificates who do not comply with the said paragraph.
