Countdown to Autonomous Vehicle Competition MARC has begun

Mini Autonomous Vehicle Competition MARC will be held on April 13 at Ankara Cyberpark. Teams who will receive deep learning algorithms training at the event will use 1/10 scale special production vehicles equipped with high-tech radar and sensors.

The autonomous vehicle competition, MARC, will be held on April 13 this year at Ankara Cyberpark. Turkcell, Karel, BMC and Doğuş Teknoloji, as well as 10 university and 4 high school teams, will participate in the competition, which will be held for the third time this year under the management of OpenZeka.

The teams, who will train a series of deep learning algorithms by OpenZeka at MARC, will use 1/10 scale custom production vehicles equipped with high-tech radars and sensors.

While these vehicles are supported by NVIDIA Jetson TX platforms, where the entire driving experience in a real vehicle can be simulated, the teams will demonstrate how they can produce solutions to real-world driving needs with deep learning algorithms.

It was reported that the teams that will compete in order to achieve the defined tasks quickly and without errors, will test all scenarios that will continue driving safely on the specially prepared track, from driving safety to reactions to traffic signs, from sudden pedestrians on the road to obstacles on the road.
